Woman faces charge of attempted murder in Sunday stabbing


REGINA – A woman has been arrested without incident following a stabbing in Regina’s Coventry Place neighbourhood.

Police were called to 4th Avenue near Lewvan Drive shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday for a report of a woman with serious injuries.

When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the chest.

She was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested a 31-year-old woman a short time later.

She has been charged with attempted murder.
