he West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) officially announced the results for the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET) 2024. Candidates can access their results, along with the final answer keys and cut-off percentages, via the WBCSC’s official website at wbcsconline.in.

Conducted on December 17, 2023, the WB SET 2023 exam covered 33 subjects. Successful candidates in the WB SET 2023 exam will be awarded a certificate of eligibility by the commission. This certificate stands as a crucial prerequisite for individuals aspiring to secure positions as assistant professors in universities throughout West Bengal.

Candidates are required to key in their registration number and password for accessing the WB SET 2023 scorecard. Within the WB SET 2023 scorecard, pertinent details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, roll number, cut-off marks, section-wise marks obtained, total marks achieved, and the candidate’s qualifying status are all mentioned.

WB SET Result 2024: How to check

Step 1: Go to wbcsconline.in, the WBCSC’s official website.

Step 2: From the home page, select the WB SET Result 2024 link.

Step 3: To view the results, candidates must click on the applicant’s login link on the new page that appears.

Step 4: Fill out the login portal with pertinent credentials and then click on the submit button.

Step 5: Your final result will be presented on screen.

Step 6: Review the result and save the scorecard.

Step 7: Print a copy of the WB SET 2024 result document for future reference.

The WB SET examination consists of two papers: Paper 1, a general test, and Paper 2, focusing on one of the 33 subjects chosen by candidates. Meeting specific criteria is crucial for candidates to qualify for the WB SET 2023 exam. For general category candidates, securing an aggregate of 40 per cent marks is essential for shortlisting, while reserved category candidates must attain a minimum of 35 per cent marks in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The commission has officially released the cut-off marks for various categories, including general, economically weaker section (EWS), other backward class (OBC-A), OBC-B, scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), person with disability (PwD), and transgender candidates.
