UPSC CSE 2024 Prelims Exam Notification Likely Tomorrow? Here’s What We Know – News18

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will likely release the official notification for the UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2024 tomorrow, February 14. As per the official exam calendar released by the commission, the civil service prelims exam notification will be out tomorrow and the last date to apply will be March 5. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on May 26 while the mains exam will be held on October 19.

Once the notification is out, candidates willing to apply for the UPSC CSE 2024 can check the age limit, eligibility criteria, exam structure, and other important dates on the official website at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or have an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 21 years while the upper age limit is 32 years.

UPSC CSE 2024: How to Apply

Step 1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2. Complete the registration process on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform available on the commission’s website.

Step 3. Proceed to fill out the online application form for the examination.

Step 4. Upload all the necessary documents as required.

Step 5. Make the payment of the application fee.

Step 6. Submit the completed application form.

Step 7. Download a copy of the submitted application for your records.

UPSC CSE 2024: Application Fee

Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100, based on previous years’ patterns (excluding women, SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates, who are exempt from fees).

The Civil Services Preliminary Examination will be objective in nature. In the multiple-choice portion of the exam, candidates must keep in mind that they will lose marks for giving the wrong answer to a question.
