Sanjay Singh, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, has been released from Tihar jail after spending six months behind bars in the Delhi liquor policy case. He walked out of the prison on Wednesday evening, following a bail granted by the Supreme Court. The court noted the absence of evidence linking him to the alleged bribery scandal involving the AAP and liquor licenses. Mr. Singh’s release came after the jail authorities received the bail order, and he was greeted by a large crowd of AAP supporters upon his release.
