Regina house explosion result of break and enter, police say

REGINA – Police say a recent house explosion in Regina was the result of a crime.

Fire investigators say a natural gas leak caused the fourplex to explode on Nov. 13 after a gas line on the property was compromised.

Police say in a news release that it was compromised by an unknown person, or group, on the morning of the explosion after a break-and-enter.

They are asking the public for any surveillance video of suspicious activity between Nov. 12 and Nov. 13.

No one was injured in the explosion.

This report by The Canadian Press was first published Dec. 2, 2022.
