Partner Content | Sinner vs. Djokovic Wimbledon odds and best bet: Pick the over on total sets for semifinal match

Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner meet in a highly anticipated semifinal match at Wimbledon on Friday.

The pregame narrative: After meeting in the quarterfinal at last year’s Wimbledon, Djokovic and Sinner will have at it once again but this time with a spot in the final on the line. Their previous match was an absolute classic, and we’re expecting another competitive bout between these two tennis superstars at the All England Club.

Check out our Sinner vs. Djokovic Wimbledon odds and best bet for their semifinal match on July 14.

Sinner vs. Djokovic Wimbledon odds and best bet

Best Bet : Over 3.5 sets (-141)

If last year’s quarterfinal match at Wimbledon is any indication of what’s in store this year, tennis fans are in for a treat.

Sinner and Djokovic, who’s a -560 favourite to win as of Wednesday afternoon, put on a show at The Championships in 2022. Sinner took a 2-0 set lead through two, but it was Djokovic who rallied back for a 3-2 win.

Both competitors are in fine form entering this match, leading us to believe both can win a set in this match, too.

Sinner’s road to the semis hasn’t been the most difficult, but he deserves credit for making it look easy. The Italian has only lost two sets at the tournament and is playing a very clean brand of tennis.

He has committed more than 30 unforced errors in just one of his five matches. Sinner is also doing a great job of minimizing his mistakes at the service line.

The 21-year-old has fired home 57 aces to just 12 double faults at this tournament. Eight of those double faults occurred in his match against Quentin Halys. That means he has totalled just four in his other four matches.

Djokovic, meanwhile, is playing a similarly efficient style of tennis, registering fewer than 30 unforced errors in all five of his matches.

While Djokovic has earned a reputation as being arguably the best grass-court player ever, Sinner is starting to earn his stripes on the surface, especially at Wimbledon. He’s 9-1 since 2022 with his only loss being the five-setter against Djokovic.

Both competitors have proven they can compete with the very best on this surface, which is why we’re looking to bet this contest lasts four sets or more.

Key stat: All four of Djokovic’s matches from the quarterfinal on at his last two Wimbledons lasted four sets or more.
