Love Pancakes? Try This Lip-smacking Recipe With Nutritional Needs – News18

For a quick and healthy breakfast make pancakes.

If your child is also a fussy eater and does not like bananas try to make these pancakes.

If your child crinkles their nose at the sight of a banana or is a picky eater, consider trying these nutritious and delicious pancakes. Bananas are a powerhouse of nutrients, perfect for growing children. They provide lasting energy and address multiple nutritional needs in one go. Adding eggs to the batter enhances protein content, promoting muscle development and gut health, and boosting the immune system.

2 ripe bananas

2 cups of milk

1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 teaspoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 teaspoons butter

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.

Add two cups of milk and beat well.

Gradually add flour and whisk until smooth.

Incorporate baking soda, baking powder, sugar, salt, butter, vinegar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Lightly grease a frying pan with olive oil and spoon the batter onto it, spreading it with the back of a spoon.

Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Serve with fresh fruit and a drizzle of high-quality honey.

Encourage your children to consume nutrient-dense foods such as seafood, lean meat, poultry, eggs, legumes, soy products, unsalted nuts and seeds. Ensure they consume a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and dairy. Minimise their intake of foods with added sugars and saturated fats, such as sugary snacks, sodas, pizzas, burgers and burritos.

By offering balanced meals rich in essential nutrients, you can support your child’s growth, development and overall well-being.
