Aaj Ka Panchang, October 24, 2023: Devotees will celebrate the auspicious occasion of Dussehra on this day. This day also marks the end of Durga Puja.

AAJ KA PANCHANG, OCTOBER 24, 2023: The Dashami and Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed this Tuesday, October 24. Devotees will celebrate the auspicious occasion of Dussehra on this day. It is also known as Dasara or Vijayadashami. The day commemorates Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and signifies the victory of good over evil.

This day also marks the end of Durga Puja, and the visarjan ceremony is performed in the evening. Some of the other rituals performed on Vijayadashami include Shami Puja, Aparajita Puja, and Seema Avalanghan. Check the tithi, auspicious times, and unfavourable hours before performing any ritual.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON OCTOBER 24

The sunrise is likely to occur around 6:27 AM, while the sunset is predicted around 5:43 PM. The moonrise is expected to be observed at 3:02 PM, and the moonset is slated to take place at 2:24 AM on October 25.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR OCTOBER 24

The Dashami Tithi is expected to continue until 3:14 PM, after that the Ekadashi Tithi is set to commence. The ashubh muhurta, or inauspicious timings, for the day, are as follows: The Rahu Kalam is anticipated to last from 2:54 PM to 4:19 PM. The Gulikai Kalam time frame is slated to occur between 12:05 PM and 1:30 PM, whereas the Yamaganda muhurta is predicted to be effective from 9:16 AM to 10:41 AM.
