The 10th class exams in Telangana and AP will start at 9:30 am. Students are allowed to enter the examination centre till 9:35 am in Telangana
The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana SSC exams are slated to begin today, March 18. This year, 5,08,385 students will appear for the Telangana 10th exams across the state. Among them 2,57,952 are boys and 2,50,433 are girls. The Telangana government has completed all arrangements to conduct the Board of Secondary Education examinations strictly. As many as 26,762 examination centres have been set up across the state.
This year, the rule of not allowing the students to enter the exam halls if they are late by one minute has been lifted. They have been allowed to take the exam if they are up to five minutes late. Furthermore, free travel facilities have been provided in RTC buses to the students writing the exams.

All the exams except science will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Science exam will be Paper-1 (Physical Science) and Paper-2 (Biological Science) will be conducted from 9.30 am to 11 am. The administrators have appointed 30,000 people as invigilators and have installed CCTV cameras in the examination centers. Officials advised students to call the state-level control room number if they need any help regarding the exams.
On the other hand, according to the Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh exam schedule is also slated to commence today from 9.30 am. It will go on till 12.45 pm. Around 31,379 students from Visakhapatnam district are appearing for the examinations, out of which 28,367 are regular students and 3,012 are private students. Out of the total, 14,972 are boys and 13,395 are girls. The exams will end on March 30.
The collector stated that 138 examination centres have been identified for the conduct of examinations, out of which 48 are ‘A’ category centres, 81 ‘B’ category centers, and 9 ‘C’ category centres. Around 138 chief superintendents, 138 departmental officers, and 1,258 invigilators have been appointed for the examination centres. Students writing class 10th exams have been provided free transport facilities in APSRTC buses based on the hall ticket. It has been made clear that students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices to the examination centres. He said there would be a special QR code on the exam question papers to prevent leaks and track irregularities.
