Tata Tigor EV Launch: Tata Motors teases next electric car, set to be new Tigor EV | – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors on Wednesday teased the camouflaged Tiger EV, which is powered by Ziptron.
Ziptron is Tata Motors’ core used in Nexon EV as well and will underpin all its electric cars for the passenger vehicles segment.
In a teaser video released by Tata Motors, heavily-covered Tigor EV speeds up the hill alongside Nexon EV.

While more details are awaited, the new Tigor EV may be based on the existing one used by fleet with a handful of feature upgrades to woo customers.
The teaser video shows the Tigor EV overtakes the Nexon EV driver by former F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan.
Earlier in July, Tata Motors launched a facelift of Tigor EV for fleet buyers — X-pres-T. The Xpres-T EV is available with two battery pack options – 16.5kWh (standard) and 21.5kWh (extended range model).

At Auto Expo 2020, the homegrown carmaker also unveiled a prototype of Altroz EV, which is also expected to hit the market soon.
