Kushaq is available in three variants -Active, Ambition and Style. Whereas Hyundai provides Creta in six variant options – E, EX, S, SX Executive, SX, SX(O). Kia Seltos has only two trims – GT Line and Tech Line, and seven sub-variants.
Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos start at Rs 10.50 lakh, Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh respectively(ex-showroom). All the products top at Rs 17.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Engine options and transmission:
Skoda Kushaq offers 1.0-litre TSI petrol and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine options. Both the engines have a standard 6-speed MT. The 1-litre engine produces 115PS of power and 175 Nm of torque while the 1.5 litre engine produces 150PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
While the 1.0-litre option has an optional 6-speed AT torque converter, the 1.5-litre has an optional 7-speed DSG automatic.
Hyundai Creta is available in two petrol and diesel engine options. It comes with a 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol, 1.5-litre MPi petrol and a 1.5-litre U2 diesel unit. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox, a 7-speed DSG and an IVT. Kia Seltos packs identical engine and transmission options.
The 1.4-litre engine gives 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre petrol engine gives out 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. The diesel variant is powered to kick out 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
Kushaq is offered in five colour options: Honey Orange, Tornado Red, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel.
Hyundai Creta comes in nine colour options: Polar White, Red Mulberry, Deep Forest, Lava Orange, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black and Titan Gray, Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black.
Kia Seltos is available in 12 colours: Punchy Orange with Clear White, Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl, Steel Silver with Punchy Orange, Glacier White Pearl with Punchy Orange, Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Punchy Orange, Intelligence Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Gray, Steel Silver, Glacier White Pearl and Intense Red.
Skoda Kushaq is 4,225 mm long and 1,760 mm wide and 1,612 mm tall. Creta and Seltos, on the other hand, are similar in dimension. Hyundai Creta’s measures 4,300 mm in length, 1790 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height. Seltos is 15 mm longer and 10 mm wider than Creta.
Kushaq, however, has the largest wheelbase at 2,651 mm against 2,610 mm in Creta and Seltos. Meanwhile, the boot space of Creta and Seltos stand at 433 litres against 385 litres in Kushaq.
Kushaq offers segment-leading warranty of 4 years/1,00,000 km, extendable up to 6 years/1,50,000 km. Additionally, Skoda will also offer 2 years parts warranty, 2 years battery warranty, 3 years paint warranty, 6 years corrosion warranty and extended roadside assistance programs up to 9 years.
Kia Seltos offer 3 years/1 lakh kilometres warranty whereas Creta comes with wonder warranty of 3 to 5 years (1 lakh to 50,000 km).
