Skoda Kushaq launched at Rs 10.50 lakh; costlier than Creta, Seltos – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Skoda Auto on Monday launched the Kushaq SUV in India, starting at Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kushaq offers two TSI petrol engine options: 1.5-litre and 1.0-litre. Transmission options include – 6-MT, 6-Automatic and 6-DSG.
The 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI engines deliver 115 PS and 150 PS respectively.
Kushaq will be available in three trim lines: Style, Active and Ambition.

Ex-showroom prices:
Active 1.0 TSI MT: Rs 10.50 lakh
Ambition 1.0 TSI MT: Rs 12.80 lakh
Ambition 1.0 TSI AT: Rs 14.20 lakh
Style 1.0 TSI MT: Rs 14.60 lakh
Style 1.0 TSI AT: Rs 15.80 lakh
Style 1.5 TSI MT: Rs 16.20 lakh
Style 1.5 TSI DSG: Rs 17.70 lakh
Kushaq is offered in five colour options: Honey Orange, Tornado Red, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel.
Kushaq offers segment-leading warranty of 4 years/1,00,000 km, extendable up to 6 years/1,50,000 km. Additionally, Skoda will also offer 2 years parts warranty, 2 years battery warranty, 3 years paint warranty, 6 years corrosion warranty and extended roadside assistance programs up to 9 years.

Kushaq will compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Kushaq also comes with numerous active and passive safety features along with ESC as standard across all variants.
Bookings have opened digitally and across the 100 plus sales touchpoints across 85 cities. Skoda Auti=o India currently has 120 sales touchpoints in 85 cities and plans to expand to 150 touchpoints by end of 2021.
