The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan is priced at Rs 2,01,314 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The motorcycle can now be booked and is also available for test rides. The launch of the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan also marks the debut of the motorcycle in the ‘Make-It-Yours’ platform where the customers can personalize, accessorize and book the motorcycle online.
The 2021 Himalayan only comes with a few cosmetic changes and a few new features and there’s literally no change in the powertrain. The most noticeable change in the 2021 RE Himalayan is the addition of the Royal Enfield Tripper, the bikemaker’s turn-by-turn navigation pod which was first featured in the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
2021 Himalayan also features a refreshed seat with improved cushioning, rear carrier with an additional plate and reduced height, ergonomically adjusted front rack and also gets a new windscreen in a bid to make the adventure tourer slightly more capable and comfortable.
The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be available in 3 new colour schemes – granite black, mirage silver and pine green- adding to the existing colour palette with 3 themes- rock red, lake blue and gravel grey.
The Himalayan boasts a 411cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine. The motorcycle manages to offer a maximum power output of 24.83 PS and 32 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
