The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 will now be offered in 2 new single tone colour schemes – canyon red, ventura blue- 2 new dual-tone schemes – downtown drag and sunset strip – and a new chrome heavy variant called Mark 2. The Mark 2 variant pays homage to the original Interceptor 750 which was on the streets in the 1960s.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 gets a new British Racing Green colour scheme and also gets 2 new custom colours – dux deluxe and ventura storm. The motorcycle also gets an updated version of the ‘mister clean’ colour scheme.
Apart from the new colour schemes, the bikemaker is also introducing blacked out rims and mudguards in single-tone colour variants for the Interceptor, enhancing the overall appeal of the motorcycle. Earlier, the blacked-out rims were only available with dual-tone colour schemes.
The Interceptor 650 also gets a few new additions through the MiY (Make-it-Yours) configurator. The motorcycle now comes with two new seat options – a standard touring dual seat and a touring seat with a cowl. A few new accessories include – engine guards and sump guards with various finishes, touring mirrors, tall and short tinted flyscreens and fork gaiters.
The Continental GT 650 gets several new accessorizing options like – painted screen kit in black, bar-end mirrors, single-seat cowl in different colours, engine and sump guards. All the accessories will be offered with a 2-year warranty.
The Interceptor 650 with single tone colour schemes now starts at Rs 2,75,467 (ex-showroom), double-tone colour variants start at Rs 2,83,593 and the Mark 2 variant starts at Rs 2,97,133 (ex-showroom). The Continental GT 650 with standard colours starts at Rs 2,91,701 (ex-showroom), custom coloured variant costs Rs 2,99,830 (ex-showroom), while the Mister Clean variant is priced at Rs 3,13,367 (ex-showroom).
