Renault Kiger is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-charged petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.
Kiger is based on CMF-A platform, which underpins the Renault Triber.
Kiger will compete against the likes of Sonet, Venue, Brezza, Nexon and other B-SUVs.
Launch is scheduled in Q1 of 2021 and is likely to priced at Rs 6 lakh to 8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The grille design is similar to other Renault offerings, however, the sleek LED headlamps and ice-cube shaped fog lamps give a distinctive look.
Kiger gets functional roof rails, 16-inch alloy wheels, black cladding on the sides and a split C-shaped tail lamp.
Kiger packs the best in class boot space at 405 litres and commendable 210 mm of ground clearance. Kiger will be available in 6 colour options.
