Having not been selected for India’s upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final, Hardik Pandya seems to be making the most of his time away from cricket. The all-rounder has been keeping fans well-updated about his daily activities through his social media accounts. Team India face New Zealand in the WTC final, from June 18. In his most recent post on Instagram, Hardik can be seen sporting a super funky look, which was also approved by his partner Natasa Stankovic as she posted a fire emoji in the comments box.
Other than Natasa’s fiery reaction, Jasprit Bumrah also commented on the photo, writing, “Eagle gang”.
Hardik is not part of India’s squad for WTC final and the subsequent five-match Test series against England.
The all-rounder also had a below-average campaign with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Before the tournament was postponed, MI were in fourth position in the points table after four wins and three defeats.
Hardik could only muster 52 runs in seven games and also didn’t bowl a single over.
IPL 2021 was postponed midway through the season due to the coronavirus pandemic. But the T20 league will resume in September-October in the UAE, the BCCI had said on May 29.
Hardik could be back in action soon as India are set to travel to Sri Lanka for a limited-overs series in July.
