Shooters Saurabh Chaudhary and Manu Bhaker, looking to bounce back from disappointing results in their individual events, made the second stage of qualification in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday, but could not make the top four, missing out on the medal matches. The men’s hockey team will also be looking for a change of fortune, looking for a win against Spain, after their 7-1 loss against Australia. While Achanta Sharath Kamal faces the great Ma Long in table tennis, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will also be in action in badminton doubles.

Abhishek Verma and Yashaswini Deswal, however, didn’t make it out of stage 1 as they finished 17th.
