India at Tokyo 2020: Men’s hockey team in semis, Sonam Malik, Tajinder Toor in action on Tuesday

Day 11 of the Tokyo Olympic Games — Tuesday, August 3 – sees the first of India’s wrestlers in action. Sonam Malik gets her campaign underway in a round-of-16 match. If she wins, a quarterfinal follows soon after on the same day. The Indian men’s hockey team, meanwhile, will play their biggest match in decades as they take on world no. 2 Belgium.

Two track and field athletes are in action as well as javelin thrower Annu Rani and shot putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor attempt to make the finals of their respective events.
