Monday, August 2, Day 10 of the Olympics promises to be another big one for Indian athletes.
Kamalpreet Kaur will look to make history in the field, while the Indian women will look to do the same in hockey. The last remaining shooters from the Indian contingent are in action too, as is India’s fastest woman and the contingent’s lone participant in the equestrian.

8.00 AM — SHOOTING [Medal event]: Men’s 50m 3 Positions Qualifying – Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Rajput. Final at 1.20 PM

8.30 AM – HOCKEY: Women’s Quarterfinal — India vs. Australia
1.30 PM — EVENTING [Medal event] final qualifier — Fouaad Mirza (and Seigneur Medicott) in action, they are 22nd after 2 rounds; Final at 5.15 PM
4.30 PM — ATHLETICS [Medal Event]: Women’s discus final — Kamalpreet Kaur was only one of two athletes to meet the automatic qualification mark [64.00m] and moved into the final ranked second in qualification. Athletes, of course, will start from scratch in the final.
