Freezing rain hit the GTA last night resulting in bus cancellations in various regions.
Currently, the Durham district school board and Durham Catholic district school board have cancelled buses in all zones.
Buses in Simcoe County have been cancelled in the north, west, central and south regions.
Meanwhile, all vehicles in the city of Kawartha Lakes for Trillium Lakelands district school board have also been cancelled.

Friday
Environment Canada expects periods of light snow in the morning.
Temperatures are going to fall to around -12C with the wind chill in the afternoon with an overnight low of -16C with the wind chill.
Winds are also expected to pick up to 40 km/h during the day, while clouds will roll in overnight.
Saturday
Cold and cloudiness will continue into Saturday with a wind chill of -15C in the morning with increasing cloudiness forecasted.
Winds are expected to increase slightly, gusting up to 50 km/h.
Sunday
It’ll finally warm up on Sunday with a day high of 4C and overnight low of 3C.
Clouds are also expected to linger throughout the day.
