Police looking for man wanted in connection with Old Mill Station stabbing

Toronto police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing that happened Wednesday afternoon on a bus at Old Mill Station.

In a press release issued Friday night, Toronto police said the 16-year-old victim boarded a TTC bus parked at the subway station and then reportedly engaged in conversation with the suspect.

The man then allegedly stabbed the boy multiple times and the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the suspect as 20 to 25 years old, five-foot-ten-inches tall with “black dread locks covering his forehead.”

Police further describe the suspect as having worn a “blue face covering, a dark-coloured top with a distinct red logo running vertically on the front and a dark hooded three-quarter length winter jacket.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-2200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com.
