The Windsor Court consists of 80% suites. The deluxe suite, the first stop on our tour, boasts elegant seating areas with a wet bar and dining table and French doors leading to an airy bedroom and a separate dressing area.

The roomy premium suites at The Windsor Court are available with one or two bedrooms and come complete with a minifridge, an Italian marble bathroom with Diptyque bath amenities and a separate dressing area. Some have a private balcony.

In addition to developing the bathrooms, locally based Vesta Fort designed The Windsor Court’s recently renovated presidential suite.

Leaving the accommodations, we visited the Club Level Lounge, which is on the 22nd floor and open to registered guests of the Club Level (the top four floors). The exclusive space includes terraces with stunning skyline views, a dedicated concierge, Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TVs, and food and beverage service throughout the day.

Open to all guests, The Grill Room terrace area offers dining and views of the courtyard below.

The private dining room within The Grill Room was designed to mirror a jewelry box belonging to the wife of the hotel’s original owner.

The lush pool deck at The Windsor Court features a 65-foot saltwater pool, The Pool Bar with a poolside drink and dining menu, private cabanas and what we found to be spectacular views of the New Orleans skyline.

The ballroom, located on the 23rd floor and dubbed La Chinoiserie, takes design inspiration from the original owner’s private collection of Chinese artwork.

A terrace off of the La Chinoiserie ballroom features a statue of a nymph by Enrique Alférez. This was the original statue in the main courtyard before it was replaced by a statue of St. George and the Dragon by John Mills.

The Nash Hallway, located on the second floor of The Windsor Court, is used for private parties.

Also on the second floor, The Palm Court is just off the Nash Hallway and can be reserved for private events.

Leaving the hotel, we took the time to appreciate a sculpture by John Mills called St. George and the Dragon, which commands center stage in The Windsor Court’s entry courtyard.
