OnePlus, iQOO And Xiaomi: Phones That Will Launch With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset – News18

Xiaomi, OnePlus and Realme will be using the new chipset

The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be part of most high-end phones in the next 6 months. Here are some of the early launches expected.

Qualcomm has announced its latest mobile flagship chipset that will be part of most smartphones launching in the next few months and early 2024. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is focusing on AI like every other tech company these days but now mobile devices will get these capabilities. While it is too early to talk about its performance, features and improvements, brands have already lapped up the new chipset from Qualcomm and even confirmed which of their phones will be the first to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The list includes prominent names like OnePlus, Xiaomi and iQOO among others.

Phones Launching With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

OnePlus 12

OnePlus will be one of the first names to use the new chipset and the next flagship model, the OnePlus 12 will be getting AI goodness among other performance gains. OnePlus is already talking about the upcoming phone, and reports say the company will launch it sometime early next year.

Xiaomi 14 Series

Xiaomi is probably going to be the first brand to announce its new phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In fact, the company is hosting a launch event this week to unveil the new phones. The Xiaomi 14 models have been confirmed to be using the new Qualcomm chip and we’re eager to hear more about its power and other features.

iQOO 12

iQOO is another brand that is vying for a space in the flagship table. The company has confirmed it will be launching the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone in India and it will be called the iQOO 12. We don’t know much about the device or its possible design and features but iQOO has repeatedly tried to show its seriousness about India and the latest update is part of its strategy.

Realme GT5 Pro

Realme is also likely to be in the mix with the upcoming GT series phone. The company has shown its flagship credentials at a lower price band with the GT 2 Pro and now it seems keen on pushing the needle with the GT5 Pro that will be using the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Oppo Find X7 Series

Oppo is also expected to have the new Find X series powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip but we’re not sure if the Find X7 and X7 Pro will get the hardware or will Oppo limit its usage to the Pro variant.
