The Delhi Police confirmed the blast and said it took place near the pavement and that the windscreens of multiple cars have been damaged.

A low-intensity explosion took place near the Israel Embassy in Delhi on Friday evening. The Delhi Police confirmed the blast and said it took place near the pavement and that the windscreens of multiple cars were damaged. No injuries have been reported so far.

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) is suspected to be the cause of the blast.

The blast reportedly took place at Jindal house, 40-50 metres from the embassy.

Several senior officials of the Intelligence Bureau, including officers of the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, Crime Branch, have arrived at the scene to investigate the blast.
