Aiming to post a strong target, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are a wicket down against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 3 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. Earlier, SRH captain David Warner won the toss and elected to field. Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi are currently batting for KKR, and adding runs to the scoreboard. Rashid Khan has taken a wicket for SRH. After winning the toss, SRH captain Warner revealed that alongwith him, Jonny Bairstow, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid are the other overseas cricketers for the fixture. On the other hand, Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins, Andre Russell and Shakib Al Hasan are the four overseas players for KKR. KKR will be aiming to start with a win in IPL 2021, after missing out on the playoffs last season.     KKR’s Shubman Gill will need to perform consistently in IPL 2021. In UAE last year, he was their main batsman but showed erratic. Finishing 12th in the Orange Cap race, he scored 440 runs in 14 games.

    The youngster has been ever-present since then for India’s Test cricket team and put in good displays during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which the visitors won.
