KARIMNAGAR: A micro-artist from Jagtial district has prepared the Ayodhya Ram Mandir with rice grains as a gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will perform the Pran Prathistha ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22.
The artist, Gurram Dayakar, said that when all of India is getting ready to celebrate the occasion, he felt the need to contribute to the effort.
“It took 60 hours and 16,000 rice grains to prepare the piece. No one has prepared such a miniature in the world,” Dayakar said. He has received several awards and holds a Guineess World Record.
