Man seriously injured after stabbing at Eglinton Station


A man is seriously injured after a stabbing at the TTC’s Eglinton subway station.

Police said they were called to the station just before 12:30 p.m. for the stabbing.

A man was located with stab wounds and he was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect is described by police as male, around 6 feet tall, bald, wearing a green hoodie, black pants and black and gold sunglasses.

There is currently no service between Lawrence and Davisville stations. Shuttle buses are running.

All bus service from Eglinton Station is also being redirected to St Clair Station.

Police are on scene and are suggesting that riders consider alternate routes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
