A man is dead after being stabbed in downtown Toronto overnight, Toronto police say.
In a tweet Monday morning, police said a man was reportedly attacked by a group of people at Queen and Sherbourne Streets just before 1 a.m. The group fled the scene and the man was later transported by medics to hospital where he was declared dead.
The Toronto police’s homicide unit is now investigating.
