Weight loss story: “Dalia khichdi and soaked almonds are secrets to my 18 kg post-pregnancy weight loss” | The Times of India


My breakfast: I indulge in Indian breakfasts like upma, oats idli, poha, paratha(of any veggies), cheela and even fruit salads.

My lunch: I prefer to eat only and only home cooked food which includes 1 roti, 1 katori sabji(can be any like cauliflower, cabbage, brinjal, peas, paneer, methi, palak, lauki), 1 katori curd and 1 katori salad…

My dinner: A small portion of rice and dal, or may be Dalia khichdi made with lots of veggies and dal, or any paratha like methi paratha or gobi paratha with curd. I make sure not to over eat and have it till 8pm.

Pre-workout meal: 1 glass of water with 5 soaked almonds

Post- workout meal: My breakfast

I indulge in (What you eat on your cheat days): When it’s my day to cheat, I love to gorge on pizzas and pani puri.

Low-calorie recipes I swear by: Dalia Khichdi. It’s our traditional food with so many benefits and tastes so well. We can make it sweet or spicy as per our desire.
