The theme was decided as red. And Ravi was supposed to wear different shades of red in various styles. From Bandhgalas to kurtas to shirts, everything had an element of quirk. So when we showed Ravi what all was he going to wear for the day, he was quick to try out the looks and made sure he pulled off all the outfits with utter elan and confidence.
Ravi Kumar Dahiya wears a red bandhgala from Line Out Line and spruced it up with a neckpiece from Mirakin.
The pictures were shot at the picturesque Taj Palace, New Delhi.
We wanted Ravi to push fashion boundaries and try something experimental. The wrestler adorned stylish jewellery pieces from Mirakin for the shoot and showed us that men too can look uber-cool in jewellery if styled right.
Ravi nails monotone dressing in this red shirt from Countrymade teamed with a pair of matching trousers and red sneakers from New Balance.
The otherwise reticent Ravi, looked absolutely camera-friendly as if he has been doing this for years and posed like a pro.
Ravi looks suave in this printed kurta from Suket Dhir.
The crisp kurta is styled with a pair of matching trousers and white sneakers to round off the look.
“My personal taste in fashion is wearing a T-shirt with denims and I wear what I feel most comfortable in,” said the 23-year-old silver medallist.
“This is really different from what I have shot so far and it was so much fun,” he added.
All his pictures were shot on a film camera by the very talented Jitendra Bhagavatula.
