The look was designed by Daniel Roseberry, who is the creative director at Schiaparelli and was showcased at the recently concluded Paris Haute Couture Week. Through this collection, Daniel wanted to honour the potential and power of the art form by returning to the fashion that he loved in his youth. “Blind nostalgia isn’t healthy: we can’t romanticize the past, especially when, for so many groups of people, the past wasn’t romantic at all. But the gift of fashion is its ability to allow us to pretend, and that is its promise as well; if we dream hard enough, maybe we can will that beautiful past into existence.”
And the supermodel did full justice to the look. The long-sleeved dress in wool crepe featured a low-cut neckline, and a gilded brass necklace in the shape of trompe l’œil lungs adorned with rhinestones finished off her look.
She tied her hair in a sleek high bun with curls details. The model looked statuesque from every angle while posing for the potogs and made sure the shuttebugs captured her every movement as she glided down the red carpet.
Her face was niftly contoured and she opted for winged eyeliner with the black and gold look. The purple earrings added to her ensemble and she coloured her nails with black polish.
To recreate this killer look from Schiaparelli, all you need is a black scoop neck dress and a similar accessory in gold like that from the designer label. Style your hair in a sleek high bun and finish off your look with winged eyeliner and viola.
