Things went from bad to worse for the Maple Leafs in Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning after Michael Bunting was ejected in the second period.

Bunting received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for an illegal check to the head on Lightning defenceman Erik Cernak.
