The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (UPJEE) will begin the process of allowing candidates to choose their preferences for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP) 2023. Candidates interested can make the choices for the 7th and 8th round of counselling for UP Polytechnic JEE on the official counselling website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
It’s important for candidates to remember that the deadline for submitting their preferences for the allotment round is October 20. The results for the 7th round of JEECUP allotment will be revealed on October 21.
According to the timetable, candidates can secure their seats and pay the seat acceptance fee between October 22 and October 23. The verification of documents at the district help centres will take place on the same dates, which are October 22 and 23.
JEECUP 2023 Round 7, 8 Counselling 2023: How to Fill Choices
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to complete JEECUP round 7 choice-filling process.
Step 1: Navigate to the official website of UP JEE Counselling.
Step 2: Then, tap on the counselling round 7 choice filling link.
Step 3: Key in the choice of course and college in the order of preference.
Step 4: Now, save the choices entered and tap on submit.
Step 5: Lastly, download and take a printout of the same.
Candidates will be allotted their college seats based on the preferences they select. Those who are taking part in the 7th round of JEECUP counselling must be sure to enter their choices within the specified timeframe. Candidates should join the allocated college by October 30, 2023. If students want to withdraw the seat they can do so on October 31 and November 1, 2023. Classes for the 2023-24 session will begin on November 1, 2023.
Students who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination 2023 didn’t get assigned seats until the sixth round they have the option to apply for a special round of counselling. This rule also applies to students coming from other states. For those students who get seats in the seventh or eighth phases, they’ll need to go through a mandatory process to verify their documents and pay the required fees.
The document verification process for rounds 7 and 8 of the JEECUP engineering diploma will take place only at the help centres located in state-run and aided polytechnic institutions. The academic session for engineering diploma courses begins on November 1. Candidates were recommended by the council to submit their preferences for each phase, and they also have the option to make changes or updates to their previously chosen options.
