JEE Main 2024: NTA declared that the result mode field shall be deactivated during the application process whenever the candidate selects passing year as 2021
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a significant notification for students registering for the JEE main 2024 Sessions. This notice is specific to applicants who are from the Tamil Nadu State Board and have completed classes 10 and 12 in the year 2021. No exams were held for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 batch of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the notice. Therefore, no marks were recorded on the mark sheet, and the word “pass” was printed across all subjects with a disclaimer: “As per G.O. (Ms) No. 48, School Education (G.E.) department dated: 25.02.2021, all candidates who studied SSLC in the academic year 2020-21 are declared passed.”
To provide assistance to candidates, NTA has determined that the result mode field shall be deactivated during the JEE Main application process whenever the candidate selects ‘passing year’ as 2021 with ‘School Board’ as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary). Similarly, the corresponding fields for marks/CGPA for Tamil Nadu State Board applicants would be blocked.
According to the notification, the same guidelines will be followed for applicants who have already completed the application form, with the passing year marked at 2021 and the school board as Tamil Nadu State Board. This suggests that the field result mode will be turned off and that the fields for total marks, achieved marks, and percentage of marks will stay hidden.
JEE MAIN 2024: HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1: Navigate to the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: From the main website, click on the JEE Main 2024 registration link.
Step 3: Provide your required information on the registration portal and click on the submit button to generate a login ID.
Step 4: Once done, log in to your candidate portal and complete the JEE Main 2024 application form.
Step 5: After paying the application costs, click Submit.
Step 6: Download and print the JEE Main 2024 registration forms in case you need them later for record.
JEE Mains 2024: Documents Required to Apply
When beginning to fill out the JEE Main 2024 application form, candidates must have the following original and scanned copies of documents on hand:

–– Class 10 mark sheet, pass certificates
–– Class 12 mark sheet, pass certificates
–– Aadhar card details
–– Copy of students photograph
–– Copy of students signature
–– Copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
