IIT JAM 2024 Registration Process Ends Today at jam.iitm.ac.in – News18

IIT JAM 2024: Candidates who have not yet completed their registration process yet can do so by today at jam.iitm.ac.in

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) JAM 2024 registration process ends today, October 20. Candidates who have not yet completed their registration process can do so by visiting the official website – jam.iitm.ac.in. The registration deadline was scheduled to conclude on October 13 but it was later extended by IIT Madras to Oct 20.

The IIT JAM 2024 is slated to take place on February 11, and the admit cards will be made available on January 8. The exam is held for students who wish to pursue MSc, MTech, or PhD programmes at famous Indian universities such as IITs, NITs, and ISCs.

IIT JAM 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies or be in the last year of an undergraduate programme in order to be considered for JAM 2024. Foreign nationals holding degrees from Indian institutes are also eligible to apply.

IIT JAM 2024: How to Register

Step 1: Go to jam.iitm.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click the registration link

Step 3: Fill out all of the necessary credentials

Step 4: Submit your IIT JAM 2024 online application form

Step 5: Pay fees, submit documents

Step 6: Submit. Save and download acknowledgement page for further use.

IIT JAM 2024: Application Fees

According to the official website, for applicants in the female, SC, ST, and PwD categories, the application fee for one paper is Rs 900, while the fee for two papers is Rs 1250. For the remaining categories, the application cost is Rs 1800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two papers.

IIT JAM 2024: Selection Process

The JAM 2024 is set to be held in a Computer Based Test (CBT) manner, with seven different test papers. It will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will take place in the morning from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm for Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics papers. The second shift will be held from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM for Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Economics, and Physics papers.
