The applications are for the post of faculty at the level of Assistant Professor Grade (1 and 2), Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. IIT Indore Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor Grade II
Age limit: The age limit to be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor Grade II should not exceed 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a first-class PhD or equivalent at the preceding degree in the suitable branch to be eligible to apply. The candidate must maintain a very good academic record throughout.
Assistant Professor Grade I
Age limit: The maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Professor Grade I is 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a first-class PhD or equivalent at the preceding degree in the suitable branch. For the position of Assistant Professor Grade I, candidates are also required to have a minimum of three years of research, industrial, and teaching experience. The experience does not include the teaching experience gained while pursuing a PhD.
Associate Professor
Educational Qualification: Candidates would require a PhD with a first-class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree and a minimum of six years of industry, teaching, or research experience for the position of Associate Professor. Out of which, at least three years of experience should be at the level of Senior Scientific Officer, Assistant Professor Grade I, or Senior Design Engineer.
Professor
Educational Qualification: Must have a PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record. Those applying should also have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IITs, IISERs, and NITIE Mumbai.
IIT Indore Recruitment 2023: Salary
Assistant Professor Grade II: Candidates will be selected on a contract basis. Those applying for the post will be entitled to a salary of Rs 70,900 per month.
Assistant Professor Grade I: Candidates can expect a salary of Rs 1,01,500 per month for the post.
Associate Professor: The salary for the post is set at Rs 1,39,600 per month.
Professor: For the professor post, the salary will range up to Rs 1,59,100 per month.
In addition to that, the mentioned posts also carry additional allowances such as DA, Transport Allowance (TA) and HRA as per the rules by the Government of India.
