The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, has once again come to the aid of aspirants by extending the deadline for registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024). For those who are keen to apply but have not done so yet, this extension offers a valuable opportunity.
The GATE 2024 registration deadline has been extended until October 12. Importantly, candidates who submit their applications within this extended timeframe will not incur any late fees. However, those who miss this extended deadline and choose to apply between October 13 and October 20, will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 500.

GATE 2024: How to Register
For those looking to register for GATE 2024, here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Visit the official website at goaps.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on “Register Here.”
Step 3: Provide your personal details to create login credentials.
Step 4: Log in using the generated credentials on the homepage.
Step 5: Fill out the online application form.
Step 6: Pay the application fees.
Step 7: Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
The GATE 2024 registration process commenced on August 30 and was originally slated to conclude on September 29.
