Indian Railways statutory body Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) invited online bids for residential and commercial development of vacant land parcels in Guwahati. The site is located just about 1.3 km from the Guwahati railway station at the Amabari Chowk – in the heart of the city and spans 9,488.22 square metre, according to a statement shared by the organisation. The parcel has a potential built-up area or BUA of 26,092.61 square metre with a reserve price of Rs 69.90 crore for a lease term of 99 years. In this regard, the online pre-bid meeting was conducted on June 25, 2021, where in 13 local and national developers participated, according to RLDA. For the submission of the e-bids, the deadline is set is August 6, 2021.
