UPSC CSE Mains Result 2023 Announced at upsc.gov.in, How to Check – News18

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services Main Exam 2023. Applicants who took the test can view their results on the official website at upsc.gov.in. In order to be selected for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services (Groups “A” and “B”), applicants whose roll numbers are listed in the result PDF are eligible to take the Personality Test (Interview).

The UPSC Civil Services Main examination was held this year from September 15 to September 24. Within 15 days following the day the final results are published, all candidate mark sheets will be uploaded to the Commission’s website and will be accessible for 30 days.

All qualifying applicants must complete and submit their DAF-II, which will be available on the UPSC website at upsconline.nic.in between December 9 and 15. The candidate’s candidature will be revoked and no correspondence regarding extension in the DAF-II submission dates will be entertained by the Commission in this respect.

UPSC Mains Result 2023: How to check

Step 1: Go to the UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 3: A new PDF file will appear on the screen with roll numbers of qualified applicants.

Step 4: Review the document and download the file.

Step 5: Print a copy of the UPSC Mains Result 2023 for future reference.

Personality tests (interview round) for qualified applicants will be held at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The particulars of the date of the personality tests will be announced by UPSC shortly. The eSummon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) for the candidates are expected to be made available for download on the Commission’s website. Typically, one in three students who pass the Mains exam will be called in for an interview, with the ratio of people shortlisted for the interview process being about 1:3.

There are 1105 positions available, according to the UPSC CSE vacancy 2023, and candidates must pass all three rounds of the examination—the preliminary, main, and interview—in order to be chosen for the positions. Two 400-mark exams make up the UPSC CSE prelims exam, whereas the mains tests comprise a total of 2,350 marks. All nine of the UPSC CSE Mains exams are descriptive in nature.
