Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot in Goa on Wednesday. The couple made their relationship public in October 2021 through a social media post.

The duo looked stunning in their first official photos as newlyweds. Sharing the pictures on her Instagram handle, Rakuul wrote, “Mine now and forever” as she also dropped a red-heart emoji.
Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding ceremony took place in the afternoon at ITC Grand South Goa. The couple first got married with an Anand Karaj ceremony, honouring Rakul’s Sikh roots. It was followed by the Pheras in the evening to commemorate Jackky’s Sindhi heritage. Several celebrities including Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Varun Dhawan, his wife Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur attended the wedding.
Soon after the pictures were shared online, fans and friends rushed to the comments section to congratulate the couple. Among others, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Jacqueline Fernandez also sent wishes to the newlyweds.
Rakul and Jackky’s pre-wedding festivities began on February 19 with a haldi ceremony. Later, the couple hosted their mehendi and sangeet functions which saw special performances from their friends and family. At the Sangeet, Shilpa performed with her husband Raj Kundra.
Meanwhile, amid her wedding festivities, Rakul Preet Singh recently opened up about the importance of having a “right partner”. The actress was speaking to Cosmopolitan India when she explained that “ambitious” women should take their time to find a partner who can not only understand them but is also ready to share responsibilities.
“It is important to have the right partner. I would just say that all those women who are ambitious should be smart enough to take their time and find a partner who understands them and their dreams so that they can share responsibilities. Of course, men and women can have it all, and women can have a little more,” she said.
On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will reportedly be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
