HCL Tech Declares Interim Dividend Of Rs 12/ Equity Share, Check Record Date – News18

In the last quarterly result on July 12, HCL Technologies had declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share.

HCL Tech Dividend 2023: IT major HCL Technologies on Thursday (October 12) announced the results for quarter two of FY 2023-24. The company reported a net profit rise of 9.8% YoY to Rs 3,832 Crore. It also declared a dividend of Rs 12 per equity share.

The company board has declared an interim dividend of Rs 12/- per equity share of Rs.2/- each of the company for the financial year 2023-24.

The record date of October 20, 2023 has been fixed for the payment of the aforesaid interim dividend. The payment date of the said interim dividend shall be October 31, 2023.

HCL Tech posted a 9.83 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 3,832 crore for the second quarter ended September 2023.

Its revenue from operations during July-September 2023 increased 8.04 per cent to Rs 26,672 crore, compared with Rs 24,686 crore a year ago.

HCL Technologies’ net profit had stood at Rs 3,489 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Moreover, in the last quarterly result on July 12, 2023 HCL Technologies had declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24.

For the April-June 2024 quarter (Q1 FY24), HCL Tech had reported a net profit of Rs 3,435 crore. The Ebitda margin for this quarter was 16.9 percent, showing a slight decrease from 18.25 percent in the preceding quarter.

The company revealed a 7.6 percent year-on-year increase in net profit for the first quarter ending on June 30. However, compared to the previous quarter, the net profit experienced an 11.2 percent decline, attributed to reductions in deals and sectors such as Hi-tech and telecom.

In terms of consolidated revenue, HCL Technologies witnessed a significant 12 percent year-on-year growth, totaling Rs 26,296 crore for the quarter, in contrast to Rs 23,464 crore in Q1 FY23.
