A fire erupted in Telangana’s Karimnagar following a gas cylinder blast, leading to panic among the residents of the locality. No one was injured in the incident.
The explosion took place at a residence in Karimnagar. The family had lit a lamp for their deity at their home and went to a nearby fair in Medaram. The cylinder is believed to have exploded after catching fire from the lamp.
When the family returned from the fair, they found their house engulfed in flames.
Earlier this week, two migrant workers from Bihar were injured in an explosion in a furnace of a factory at Telangana’s Kondurg.
Preliminary investigation found that the blast, which took place in the iron melting furnace of the factory, occurred due to “short circuit”.
