At least 250 passengers created a ruckus at the Bengaluru airport on Wednesday after they were made to wait 12 hours to board a SpiceJet flight for Mumbai. The flight was scheduled to take off at 5 am, but the passengers had not been able to board even in the afternoon.
Thereafter, the passengers lost their cool and got into an argument with the airline officials, accusing them of being unable to facilitate them despite multiple deadlines.
The passengers said the airline claimed that there was a technical glitch with the Mumbai-bound flight, which they were trying to resolve, before starting the boarding process.
